Mörwald Hotel am Wagram. Not so far from Vienna in the heart of the Wagram wine-growing region, the Relais & Châteaux MÖRWALD Hotel am Wagram was the perfect retreat for enjoying two days-off.
Opened in May 2016, at the MÖRWALD Hotel am Wagram you have a sensory journey that will expand your senses to the maximum. I really have felt I was enjoying a unique experience, in every way!
The architecture is a great balance between the traditional archetype and pure modern design, that create a cosiness and refined ambient. From the bar area to the sauna & wellness area, light wood and natural colours give you the perfect sensation of relax. The spa & wellness area offers a Finnish sauna with big view to the outdoor wood terrace, an hammam, a relaxed room with fine tea and fruits selection and many wellness treatments, on request.
I stayed in their “Hideaway” suite, a fine high end furniture room with king size bed by Wittmann, fully equipped living room with fresh flowers, two balconies and a wonderful bathroom with big window to the bedroom area. Just amazing! I also really appreciated the coffee and Toni Mörwald’s cakes selection as well as their bathrobes, the most fluffy I have ever worn. Small attentions that make the difference!
Their professional staff and the refined gourmet Menu made also a lovely tasting experience. I had a 8 courses dinner at the Restaurant “RELAIS & CHÂTEAUX” GOURMET TONI M and I can only suggest you to get a visit! As I have already written in my post about the Restaurant HERE, it is not simply an excellent restaurant but an amazing gourmet experience! Just try it! Also the breakfast at “Relais & Chateaux” Kochbar im Wirtshaus was excellent, with any made-to-order egg dishes you desire, fresh juices, wine, tea selections and lots of delicatessen from the gourmet buffet. Everything you can wish! The perfect start into the day!
