Wedding chronicles: my wedding in Vienna

My wedding in Vienna. Today I am finally writing about my wedding in Vienna. Before to share with you some photos, let me shortly explain you how we decided to organise it. In July we got married in Vienna because the city represents for us the start of a new life since we moved here in 2011. We desired a close ceremony and celebration with our families and then in August we also celebrated in Italy with all family and friends.

After the civil ceremony in the 18th district, where we live, we had lunch at DO&CO Restaurant, in the “wintergarten“: their exclusive and private location on the roof top, with a breathtaking view all over the historical center and the St. Stephen’s cathedral. The service and the personalised lunch were so amazing that we will always remember them. We really enjoyed every moments thanks to the unique, fine and quite atmosphere too. And what about the wedding cake? Gosh… it was simply perfect! I chose my favorite one: a black forest cherry cake, created by Demel. Believe me, the most delicious I have ever eaten in my life. So I really want to thank them for their professional services and for making our day even more special!

My bridal dress was a unique custom creation in silk and chiffon, designed by the talented Patricia Vincent and me. I can not describe how much proud and satisfied I am. It is not a conventional bridal dress for sure, however, it is just me: modern, minimal and elegant. Aaaand I deeply wanted trouses, despite many contrary opinions! Patricia also suggested me to embellish it with one of her Swarovski precious handmade headpiece and I chose refined metallic leather sandals by Gucci, bought at Steffl department store. Alessandro decided for a Corneliani suit bought in Italy and Hugo Boss white tie and shirt from Peek&Cloppenburg. Hope you like it! ♥

See you next time!
Valentina
