Bologna is a beautiful city, rich in history, art, excellent food and a relaxed atmosphere. If you have read my travel reportage (direct link), you already know that I had such wonderful days and that I wish to visit it again soon. One thing that definitely made the difference was my stay at the Hotel Touring!
I felt really like at home thanks to the warm welcome and attention to any request. I will never forget the kindness of the owners and the thousand smiles of the entire staff. A warm breath of good vibes. Seriously, it’s not often that you get treated so nicely!
The hotel Touring is a 4 star family-run hotel located in a quiet area of the historic center with a breathtaking view over the rooftops of the city, the Bologna towers and green hills. I think my words are not necessary, just look at the photos. The Terrazza Mattuiani is their fabulous rooftop with the best view in town. You can have a break delighting an Italian Aperitivo or enjoying the panoramic whirlpool, which I really appreciated after my intense days of exploration. It was breathtaking! Can you imagine a pleasant summer’s night here?
My room was a gem, furnished with refined taste, all kind of facilities and embellished with a wonderful historical fresco ceiling. For sure one of the most beautiful rooms I have seen so far.
Attention to detail can also be found in the charming reading room dedicated to the late Italian singer-songwriter Lucio Dalla and the breakfast area. In the converted tavern of the Friars you can start your day in the best way and let yourself be delighted by the good selection of organic food and by fresh homemade cakes.
If you are looking for a charming stay with a wonderful view and top position on the Bologna historical center, I warmly recommend to stay at Hotel Touring. You’ll be delighted, I am sure.
