What’s in my winter beauty bag

my winter beauty bag

Since I spent my Christmas holidays in Italy by my family, I thought that I could share with you all the beauty products I brought with me. In this post I will share with you what’s in my winter beauty bag. A little dutiful parenthesis: my skin is sensitive and tends to be dry, very dry in winter.

Kiehl’s – Rosa Arctica eye cream *  (here)
“Its regenerating formula helps visibly reduce under-eye lines and wrinkles while instantly brightening and smoothing.” I thought it was the right time for trying it since I knew I would have spent a lot of time in the mountains in the open air; so, not the best conditions for my dry and sensitive skin.
It hydrates and fortifies my skin that is softer despite the cold and windy weather of two weeks in the Dolomites. I really like it and apply it day and night. I find it also a perfect make up base for my skin.

Nuxe – Dry oil Huile prodigieuse  (here)
The famous oil nourishes and beautifies face, body and hair. I use it direct on my skin after cleaning, on my hands and on my hair, especially in the evening when I need a extra pamper. It smells A M A Z I N G and helps me also to relax! I have a travel size that is always on my beauty case because I really cannot live without it!

La Roche-Posay – Micellar Water Ultra  (here)
It is a good cleanser for sensitive skin and for who doesn’t need a very strong make up remover for waterproof make up or very intense creamy mascara or pencils. It is a normal micellar water for natural everyday looks and powdery make up looks.

Avene – Hydrance RICH Hydrating Cream  (here)
Rich, creamy moisturizer provides long-lasting hydration and helps prevent water from evaporating from the skin. I like to use it day and night, also under makeup because it helps my skin without being too greasy.

Annemarie Börlind – Orange Blossom Energizer * (here)
It is a 2-phase skin care fluid with first-pressing botanical oils and blossoms extracts. It gives me vitality applying it under the cream. Sometimes I mix it with my cream for an extra dose when I look very tired.

Annemarie Börlind – Gentle Cleansing Milk * (here)
It is a gently makeup remover for face and neck without mineral oils. It smells heavenly and leaves my skin soft and cleaned.

Nuxe – Ultra nourishing Lip Balm (here)
It is simply the best lip balm I have ever used. Very rich and intense, it is my rescue especially in winter!

The Ordinary – High-Spreadability Fluid Primer  (here)
It is a silicon lightweight primer that creates a smooth, natural base and preps the skin for makeup application (Not really sure about that… I own better primers, like the Porefessional by Benefit) Anyway I normally do not use primers except in winter when I need a extra protection, for example when I go skiing or I stay outside for long time.

See ya next time ♥
